Morning is like a quiet grace
that peaceful first inhale of the soul
the tell-tale signs of light
behind closed eyelids
Beauty erupts from a colorful sky
as she blushes while her bride, the sun
rises up to meet her
after gentle caresses of light and dawn
Little birds get caught up in rapture
of the beauty of the love
as lovers reunite in feminine embrace
and the earth is blessed by their bliss
The faded gentle moon remains
That reflection of light from sun
that stayed with sky to assure her
that her one true love stayed near
Morning is a celebration
of renewal and mystery
of enchantment and joy
of wonder and of love.
