Individual Eco Work

What are your carrying in this time of great transition and unraveling? What are you feeling called to move toward that you could use some support with?

As an integrative provider and eco-spiritual facilitator and guide, I am here to walk with you in this great unraveling and move toward a more sustainable and life-giving way to exist. I believe not just in a mind-body connection, or even mind-body-spirit, but mind-body-spirit AND your interrelatedness to the natural world, your relationships, your environment, your career, finances, and more. Much of the problems we face today stem from our deep disconnections from the Earth and from each other. Instead of recognizing our own place in the web of life, the westernized lifestyle encourages consumption and competition over cooperation and kinship.

In integrative eco-spiritual work with me, we engage directly with nature in a reciprocal manner that draws from eco-psychology, forest bathing, The Work That Reconnects, and other modalities and traditions which are rooted in Earth wisdom and relationship. It can look like discussion and listening while walking or sitting in a natural area, engaging in specific earth-based nature therapy practices, creating new rituals, and sometimes singing and mantras.

Eco-spiritual work is provided through my Embodied Affirmation School. Embodied (to personify) Affirmation (Support, Strong dedication) means living in ways that bring about the world we want to live in. It means embodying life affirming ways to live and love the world around us and ourselves as part of this natural world.

Some of the areas integrative work can help with include (but are not limited to):

Managing and relieving burnout, stress, overwhelm, eco-grief and eco-anxiety in our climate emergency and in this moment of unraveling

Forming a healthier spirituality (Esp for LGBTQ+ people, people who’ve experienced religious trauma or experienced a significant shift in belief, Faith reconstruction/reclaiming also falls under this)

Creating and maintaining self-care, self-compassion, and taking care of your whole wellness through better habits

Rewilding yourself (connecting deeply with the natural world, finding your inner strength & wisdom)

Midlife-awakening to purpose and soul-journey

Improving your relationships and connection to the natural world, Community Building

Reclaiming your voice & place, claiming your purpose

Maximizing connection and groundedness while serving as an activist or helper

Embodying a simple, sustainable lifestyle

About Charity:

Charity Muse is an eco-spiritual facilitator and guide, author, and musician. Her work centers on earth reconnection and rewilding spirit in the context of community, kinship, and belonging. Charity helps people reconnect with their own sacred wildness and embody eco-based spiritual practices for healthy spirituality after spiritual trauma, faith crises, burnout, and for eco-based grief and anxiety. With a background that includes providing therapy for over 15 years and coaching for more than 10, Charity is a seasoned and caring professional.

After recognizing the tendency for over-pathologizing and medicalizing what it means to be human in a world that separates us from each other and the Earth, she shifted to more integrative care. Charity now utilizes her knowledge as well as practices from a variety of earth-based approaches including forest bathing, eco-spirituality, and eco-psychology. Additionally, she has created practices and integrates singing and writing into her work. Charity is also a sought-for speaker and facilitator for spirituality, continuing education, and LGBTQ+ inclusion. She enjoys hiking, time with friends and family, cooking and regenerative gardening.

Charity holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Bachelor’s in Psychology and is a Board Certified Coach. She has received further coaching education through ILCT, and eco-spiritual experience through the Center for Wild Spirituality Wild Church Leadership Course, Celtic Spirituality classes, and ongoing practices as well as ongoing experience with The Work that Reconnects.

Charity structures individual work around a time and frequency limited model. Instead of engaging in a never-ending agreement, she works with folks to determine how often and how long work together should last. She is available for guiding by phone or in person in the Chattanooga, TN and North Georgia areas.

Embodied Affirmation School offers workshops, retreats, groups, and gatherings/circles in the general Chattanooga and North Georgia area. I am also available for speaking and leading eco-spiritual practices at your event.

My Fee & Other Logistics:

I offer eco-spiritual facilitation and guidance via phone and in-person with in-person options in NW Georgia and Chattanooga, TN. I include eco-based approaches and tools for both distance and in-person coaching sessions. If by phone, it’s best if you are outside in a natural area when we talk.

One hour session fee, $150

I maintain a small number of reduced-rate spots available for need-based assistance and justice pricing. Please let me know if you would like to know more about that.
